1. PRIVACY POLICY

Welcome to PeBits (pebits.in). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data, including your mobile number, name, and transaction history. We collect minimal information to verify your account via OTP and facilitate instant peer-to-peer digital change transactions. Your data is stored securely using Firebase encryption and is strictly not shared with third-party advertisers.

2. TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PeBits mobile application developed by PEBITS (Udyam Registered Enterprise), located at beerappa nilaya, badagalahundi, bus styand beedi, mysuru, KARNATAKA - 570010. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

• Eligibility: You must be a resident of India, possess a valid Indian mobile number, and register using your own details.

• Wallet Usage & Digital Change: PeBits provides a digital wallet ecosystem strictly meant for peer-to-peer (P2P) micro-transactions and digital change exchange.

• Wallet Limits: To prevent misuse, the maximum wallet balance a user can hold/deposit via self-deposit is capped at ₹500.00.

• Withdrawals: Users can withdraw their wallet balance back to their linked bank account only when their cumulative wallet balance is ₹100.00 or above.

• Convenience Fees: Internal peer-to-peer digital change transfers are free. PeBits reserves the right to charge a flat convenience fee of ₹3.00 per successful bank withdrawal to cover banking and infrastructure costs.

• Account Termination: Any user found engaging in fraudulent activities, exploiting system bugs, or using fake details will have their PeBits account suspended immediately.

3. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

At PeBits, we facilitate instant peer-to-peer digital change exchange. Since transactions are processed in real-time, please note our cancellation and refund rules carefully:

• Internal Transfers (P2P): Once digital change is transferred from one PeBits user to another via QR Scan or Mobile Number, it cannot be cancelled or reversed. Users must ensure they are sending the amount to the correct individual before confirming.

• Wallet Deposits: Money deposited into the PeBits wallet via UPI deep linking cannot be refunded back via cancellation. However, users can easily transfer the money to their friends or withdraw it back to their bank account using the 'Withdraw' option as per the standard withdrawal limits (minimum ₹100).

• Failed Deposits / Discrepancy: In case money is debited from your bank account via UPI but does not reflect in your PeBits wallet balance due to network errors, the amount is typically reversed automatically by your bank within 2-3 business days. If not, users can raise a support request inside the app providing the 12-digit UPI UTR Number for manual verification.

• Withdrawal Delays: Bank account withdrawals via our banking partners are usually credited instantly. In case of downtime or technical banking failure, the amount will be processed within 24-48 business hours.
